AUStopped the leak without interfering with wildlife
Our dam had been draining out into an adjacent ravine very rapidly, emptying completely between rains at an an accelerating rate. We have eels that live in the dam and burrow into the mud to wait out the dry periods, so we wanted to seal the dam wall without entombing them underground. We waited until we had a couple of days of rain, applied the product and within a day the dam had stopped leaking completely. Our eels have been accounted for and the blue yabbies seem to have either emerged from the mud or moved in from elsewhere very quickly. Frogs had spawned during the rain before the application and were completely unaffected by the product, the dam is now swarming with tadpoles. Product seemed expensive, but did exactly what we needed it to - sealed our dam without harming the wildlife.
