Effective Phosphorus Removal with Phosflow
Phosflow is a revolutionary new product here in Australia, developed in collaboration with the US EPA and USDA to remove excess phosphorous from water.
- Easy to use, with little to no preparation required
- Insoluble in water and is biodegradable
- No need to remove after application
- Safe for use in drinking water, irrigation water, aquaculture
- Significantly improves water quality
Designed by the US EPA and USDA
Phosflow is suitable for all types of waterbodies including those with a plastic liner, cement base, or similar non-porous base. Also ideal for aquaculture ponds, or similar waterbodies with large fish numbers where high fish waste causes problems.

How It Works?
Improves water quality
While most phosphorus-removing products require water to work, Phosflow will work in all types of water bodies including those with a plastic liner, cement base, or non-porous base. This makes it ideal for improving water quality in aquaculture ponds or waterbodies with large fish numbers where high fish waste is present.
Unique Design
Phosflow contains special phosphate-capturing beads held in a water permeable pouch. This unique design allows water to flow through easily, for maximising the removal of phosphorus from your water. Phosflow will capture and hold free phosphorus in the water.
Biodegradable
The Phosflow beads are bio-degradable and environmentally friendly. Once the Phosflow has done its job, the beads can be used as a slow release fertiliser or in composting.
How much phosphorus is too much?
To maintain a healthy waterbody, the phosphorus concentration of the water must be below 0.05mg/L (ppm).
Phosflow removes up to 0.2mg/L of phosphorus from water, a staggering 4 times more than the maximum tolerated level of phosphorous in water.
