Best Results – Water Depth & Surface Coverage
Surface Clear / Orange Oil works best when used on water bodies with an average depth of 1 metre or greater and where free-floating aquatic weed covers less than 80% of the water surface.
For best results, there should be visible free water between areas of floating weed. Some open water is important to allow effective application across the water surface and help ensure the treatment reaches the target weed.
Where floating weed coverage is very dense or well established, treatment effectiveness can be reduced. In these situations, partial removal of the floating weed before treatment may improve spray coverage and treatment results.

It's easy to use have used in past with success, but didn't work very well with azolla will have to try again used 2 litres on small dam Only other option is AQ200 but have pets that go down to dam and wild life.

AU AUEffective duckweed removal
After inheriting a dam covered in several centimetres of duckweed, this stuff has worked really well (after physically debulking the mass of duckweed) to control the new plantlets. As we use the dam for the garden, and its still full of frogs, the absence of residual toxicity is great.

AUOrange Oil & Azolla (duckweed)
We are applying Orange Oil at the recommended dilution, to remove Duckweed from our dam. We have followed the recommendations and removed most of the **** ( which multiplies itself at speed!), thinning it out, then spraying with the Oil. It seems to inactivate the ****, but requires ongoing spraying & thinning out. We are currently working on this daily to eradicate the Azolla.

We were looking for a natural option for ridding our dam of an explosion of duckweed. Upon reading about orange oil, we gave it a try and whilst it wasn't as quick using the 3 x application - working with physical removal and spraying, we've managed to almost get rid of it entirely. The orange oil seems to have stopped the reproduction cycle. Next heat wave, we might increase the ratio and see if that is more effective in sinking the ****. Pretty happy with it though, and it definitely had no ill-effects on the native wildlife.

I bought this product hoping it would solve my Duckweed problem. I mixed it stronger than directions advised. After application, there were no signs of it killing the ****. It was a total waste of money and time.

Have done the first two sprays of duck **** and nothing has changed. It is still the same color and volume. Undertake the first spay of red azolla. Will update the review if any changes.

The orange oil has not reduced the amount of floating weed on the dam. It seems l shall have to look at another form of removal.
