For Irrigation and Stock Watering, Dams, and Ponds:
- Where to Use: Dams, Ponds
- How Much to Use: Apply 80g per m² of water surface area.
- How to Apply: Spread evenly over the water’s surface using an appropriate applicator or by hand.
- When to Apply: Choose either a targeted application or treat the entire water surface, as needed.
Treating the entire water body: Calculate the surface area of your water body (Length (m) X Width (m) = m²)

Targeted Application: When the location of the leak is known, it is important to note that this may not be the location of where the water is being drawn from. In this instance, Dam Stop Leak® should be applied 10m either side of leak location, and out to the deepest point of the waterbody.

Should I Turn Off My Pump During Application?

It’s recommended to turn off pumps or filters for at least 24 hours after application. Once the polymer settles at the bottom of your pond or dam, it will begin to seep into the pond walls. Make sure to check for any remaining material before reactivating the pumps.

Is Dam Stop Leak® Safe Around Fish?

Yes, Dam Stop Leak® is entirely safe for fish. It’s a non-toxic product. Keep a watchful eye on your fish until the product sinks to the bottom, as fish, especially koi, might mistake it for food when it’s on the water’s surface.

Can I Use Dam Stop Leak in Lined Ponds/Dams?
