Free Floating Weed Preventative when used as directed, will reduce the re-establishment of Azolla, Salvinia & Duckweed. Once your body of water has been cleared of the free floating weed, the Free Floating Weed Preventative will help reduce the likelyhood of re-infestation.

Free Floating Weed Preventative is a unique silicone based liquid which spreads across the water’s surface, forming a thin film. The film effects the water’s surface tension and in turn, prevents the re-establishment of Azolla, Salvinia & Duckweed from returning.

Directions:
Suitable for preventing Azolla, Salvinia & Duckweed in lakes, dams, irrigation channels, water storages and ponds. 

Once your body of water has been cleared of the free floating weed, the Free Floating Weed Preventative will help reduce the likelyhood of re-infestation. 

Free Floating Weed Preventative can be used to increase the effectiveness of treatments such as Free Floating Weed Control or approved herbicides.

Free Floating Weed Preventative can be applied by simply pouring it directly from the drum on to the water’s surface. It will spread itself across the water’s surface.

Application Rates: 

To assist in preventing the return of Azolla, Salvinia & Duckweed, apply 100ml per 100 square metres of water surface area & reapply every 4-6 weeks, or as required. 
When used in conjunction with Free Floating Weed Control, apply Free Floating Weed Preventative 2 hours after you have applied the Free Floating Weed Control. Apply at a rate of 125ml per 100 square metres of water surface area.

Apply Free Floating Weed Preventative 4 days after the application of approved herbicides at a rate of 100ml per 100 square metres of water surface area, reapply every 4-6 weeks or as required.
